Pandemic in Pictures Prize Shortlist:

When we launched the Pandemic in Pictures Prize we never expected to receive the quality of work that we did. With submissions from Photographers, Artists and Painters, choosing an overall winner turned out to be one of the hardest choices that the Collective Team has ever made.

We firstly would like to once again congratulate our overall Winner, Alice Oliver, who’s outstanding project left us reflecting on the events of this year and the lives of generations before us. You can read more about Alice’s project HERE

We would also like to thank every one of you who took the time to submit work for this Prize. This year has been one of the toughest, uncertain and frightening years that the world has ever faced. The fact that you have reacted to and created work around this Pandemic is an achievement in its self. All of the work was immense and you should all be proud of yourselves. We truly hope that this Pandemic will end soon and truly wish you all the best Christmas possible.

All of our shortlisted artists will have their work shared on the Collective website and Instagram over the Christmas period and into the new year. If you were not selected this time, do not feel hard done by! The quality of submissions was at such a high standard, we had to make tough decisions and simply could not pick everyone.
