The work uses staged performances to illustrate the insignificance of the individual in a large symbiotic ecosystem. It reflects a personal struggle with the decreasing importance of self. In so doing, it also documents a journey of devolution to a less dangerous and more harmonious and natural way of life.
Ezra is a visual artist working within the boundaries of the photographic medium. His work is often intertwined with themes of isolation and self-exploration. He is interested in how the way the camera sees adds to us, not only changing us physically and adding to our senses but also enabling us to understand ourselves and the world around us in ways that would be otherwise inconceivable.
