Anna Calleja is a 22-year-old artist from Malta currently living in Cornwall.
Calleja’s interdisciplinary practice revolves around her notions of home. The work references her family and thoughts about her home country, Malta where there is a growing threat to the environment and political divisiveness. Through painting, printmaking, and sculpture, Calleja explores notions of comfort, cognitive dissonance, and liminal identity.
