Initium

It is an act of rediscovery, igniting once-lost passions and exploring what my identity is and means to me as well as my spirituality/faith. The process of creating held a great deal of significance in healing through painful endings but seeking new beginnings nonetheless. These photographs are the end result of an extensive exploration into various styles of photography, research and intuitive playfulness.

From reading authors such as Rebecca Solnit, I became thoroughly interested in the colour blue. Blue holds the potential to seek the Mystery, the unknown in all things in a poetic, spontaneous and intuitive way through its depth and intangibility.

I worked with many mediums such as sculpture in wax and bronze form, projections, light refraction, and photography.
