A Plan For Britain
On June 23rd 2016 51.4% of the British voting public decided, via referendum, to leave the European Union, ending the 44 year old political and economic relationship.
As the tension between the UK and the EU grows more pronounced, the future of the UK remains uncertain. Regardless of what may happen there will be wide reaching implications throughout all sectors. Tension, pressure and uncertainty will continue to characterise the years to come.
This series stems from feelings of confusion and imbalance and aims to present the diverse aspects of public life that will be affected by this bureaucratic upheaval.
Remus Comanescu was born in a small town in Romania in 1980. From the age of 12 he started collecting objects that interested him for one reason or another and sometimes for no reason at all. Once he moved with his family to London, he embarked on a BA in Photography at Middlesex University where he rediscovered his passion for objects and worked on creating photographic projects based on real experiences.
Now he lives in London and works as a still life photographer, specialising in conceptual projects.
