Goodnight, God Bless

Im a photographer currently in my third year at Bath Spa university.

This project I’m working on, is called Goodnight God Bless. It Surrounds the themes of religion, motherhood, grief and gender. Focusing on how the majority of men in my family have passed away and my cousin giving birth to the first Male to be born in four generations. I was brought up by very strong matriarchal family and this book shows how my family brings up this new little boy with the absences of many patriarchal roles. But the strength of all the women in my family that surrounds us.
