No Ball Games
West Somerset has the highest percentage of people aged 65+ in the UK and 48% of the total population live in a rural area. This means that young people living in these rural areas face difficulty when seeking mental and emotional help from existing services. ‘No Ball Games’ is an ongoing project exploring life as a young person in rural Somerset. Through capturing themes of isolation and remoteness, the photographer draws on his own personal experiences growing up in that part of the country; depicting his ongoing desire to move on.
