The Project
Devon is often an overlooked part of Britain. It is both in the public consciousness and also dismissed as a representative of what it is to be British. Within my previous years of photographic practice, I have tried to explore both my own identity and also that of life living within Britain, this often manifests itself primarily within portraits of the everyday people that I come across. A majority of which are within the historical district capital of Exeter.
My focus has shifted somewhat within the last year from sole portraiture to a more instinctive interest to the urban landscape. Despite this shift, the work showcased here is a culmination of work from small projects from the past couple years.
